## MCP
POST /mcp. Preferred protocol 2026-07-28; legacy 2025-11-25 is supported. Discover with server/discover, tools/list and tools/call. Hosted tools: search_reports, get_report, list_report_versions, search_sources, prepare_download_manifest. On https://tiansource01.apuch.cn/mcp, supply an administrator-issued read-only Bearer token; this COS-enabled Node deployment additionally exposes get_archived_report({reportId}) for five-minute private download URLs with SHA-256, byte size and publisher provenance. Never persist signed URLs or share tokens. Other static/Worker deployments expose only the five catalogue tools.

The portable Node deployment also provides download_report, list_downloads, update_report_status. HTTP private storage requires MCP_API_KEY; stdio uses the authorized local process. Browser research lists are local browser selections, not downloaded files.

## Evidence rules
Use stable report IDs. year is the edition label; publishedDate and dataPeriod are separate and may be null. Only a report with access=open, downloadMode=direct and directDownloadUrl is eligible for automatic download. Landing, registration and subscription records need manual publisher access. Never invent missing edition years, prices or file URLs. Empty archive cells mean not indexed. Report counts count records, not publishers, PDFs saved, market size or full historical coverage. Official introductions support the summaries; no full text is indexed.
